Everything You Need to Know About YouTube

A View of YouTube

When YouTubebegan in 2005 , it was a fresh idea that was designed to share videos with friends and family members. The main idea was to design a site that people could utilize and share their treasured videos. Today, the YouTube draws millions of visitors from all-over the globe and features a lot of things, from video blogging to viral videos that entertain a lot of people.

The Story Behind YouTube

Like what I've said earlier, YouTube first went mainstream in 2005. The founders Chad Hurley, Jawred Karim and Steve Chen were all previous PayPal employees. The main idea was to make a website wherein the group could share the videos they've shot in their friend's pad in an faster way. As things went by with the company, they became a bit more user friendly and grateful to million dollar investment, the company has been able to develop into a strong driving force online. Something that might interest you is the very first video on YouTube was by one of its founders, Jawred Karim called Me at the Zoo.

Even though the website was eventually bought out by Google in 2006, the original 3 founders all hold places inside of the company.

Some Countries Criticism Towards YouTube

There are many places where utube has not been allowed. One of the strongest reasons is that the social content that is permitted on YouTube doesn't give protection all classes of individuals. With parody videos, for example, users can create an incorrect personification of an individual or ethnicity in "fun" that uneducated watchers might find interesting. One more thing is that there is unregulated access to defamatory content as well as items that represent religious figures in an inappropriate manner as well.Even if you flagged these videos, the videos are not always removed. Rather, they are being notified before entering the video.

China, Pakistan and Libya are just some of the countries that have banned access to YouTube. One more thing that has been criticized by a lot of people is that YouTube provides no privacy for its subscribers. Rather, IPs as well as viewing habits have been provided to major companies in a way to know how consumers behave.

YouTube's Future

As the website continues to push forward, it is almost sure that the content will start to improve as well. Already we find that 3D video has rapidly begun to make itself worth noticeable on the site. In fact, some of the newer televisions that has 3D technology have access to YouTube to give their audience plenty of content that they can freely enjoy.

While there is no factor on how far YouTube will stay the accelerating force for online video sharing, there is one thing that many people can agree on. For now, it does offer some of the best video viewing options for all those concerned. From general viral videos to educational videos, many people will continue to watch all their favorites on YouTube and a lot will wait to see what the future of this website holds as well.
