Google:What Does It Mean?

Nowadays, Google is considered one of the most favored labels on the Internet and this was established by hundreds of surveys done by the polling companies. Because of its popularity, majority the net users are often discussing about it like it's a person. However have you ever asked yourselves of what does Google mean?

On an entry in one of the most famous online resources, Google stands for a label used for an online search engine. This brand often seen in print as a verb, from time to time in lowercase.

The name started as a move to reform the amount of data the search engines could look for. It was first named 'Googol', a word that means 1 followed by 100 zeros.

It is a very huge number. As a matter of fact, there isn't a googol of something in the universe. Google's choise of the word represents Google's dream to reorder the all huge amount of information and make it entirely available and useful.

Since it is a company name, Google is a noun. Slowly, however, but certain, it broadens and tends to become a verb as plenty users refer to the action of doing their research in the Internet as "googling".
